***Effective at 5:00 pm today (March 17), the Governor is declaring a ban on gatherings of 10 people or more.

It has been a rough week for our community, especially our restaurant industry. Events like these show how fragile but resilient our society can be. Just in the past couple of days, we’ve seen things escalate in regards to social distancing, closures and cancellations. Things will undoubtedly get worse before they get better. To ensure our restaurants and small food businesses survive, please show your support where you can, purchase gift cards, shop local, and send your favorite restaurants a message online. We have so much respect for the folks in our food industry, from restaurants to grocery stores that are working around the clock to make sure shelves are stocked and meals are prepared. Thank you!

As of now, Smorgasbord will be postponed until further notice. If you have purchased tickets to the event, we will be refunding your money. Once it is safe to gather again in public, we would like to reorganize Smorgasbord to be a fundraiser for our restaurant community.
