Don’t just travel to Spain, taste and drink your way through it on the 2015 Spain Foodie Tour!

Don’t just travel to Spain, taste and drink your way through it on the 2015 Spain Foodie Tour!

This four-star, luxury trip stimulates all the senses – admire the dramatic vineyards of Rioja, smell Toro’s inky Tempranillo wines, listen to waves crashing on San Sebastian’s rocky coast, taste Spain’s best sucking pig in Segovia, or feel the earth as you harvest Navarra’s iconic white asparagus (full itinerary details below).

The tour is organized by Iberian Wine Tours in conjunction with distinguished US wine school My Wine School, Bavette Restaurant, and Emmy-nominated television program, Wisconsin Foodie.

Why tour Spain with Iberian Wine Tours, My Wine School & Wisconsin Foodie?

These wine estates and gastronomic experiences are not typically open to visitors and few do tours in English. Iberian Wine Tours, along with the Bell sisters, have close connections and intimate knowledge of the areas we visit.

Owner of My Wine School and one of your guides for the trip, Jessica Bell, resided in Spain working at a winery for two years, traveling the country meeting Spain’s top winemakers and becoming familiar with Spain’s vineyards. Jessica’s sister, Karen, currently successful restaurateur of Bavette, started and ran a top-rated restaurant in the heart of Madrid for several years. Fluent in Spanish, the Bell sisters possess knowledge, passion and contacts, which complement Iberian Wine Tours history and reputation as Spain’s preeminent tour operator for wine and food tours.

***Please note that this tour will be filmed for episodes of Wisconsin Foodie. We have organized the tour carefully to ensure an optimal experience for all our guests. Most filming will occur before or after the group arrives at each stop, however, there may be minimal fliming during visits. As such, we will be asking you to sign a release form upon registration to ensure that it is acceptable should you inadvertently appear in the background of the resulting show. All guests will receive a DVD of the program, once the episode has aired, as beautifully-edited memento of their travels through Spain.
