The Color of Wine

Episode 2, Segment 3: Jessica Bell explains what to look for when looking at the color of wine.

Before we take time to smell the roses, we are first drawn in by their beautiful color.  Wine can have a similar effect on our ability to understand and appreciate wine.  Jessica Bell explains how different colors and hues can reveal a great deal about your wine, even before you have smelled or tasted the wine.

Jessica Bell founded The Midwest Wine School in June 2007. Her academic credentials include a Diploma in Wine & Spirits from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and a certificate in Viticulture and Vinification from the American Sommelier Association in New York City.  She is the Midwest Ambassador of Armagnac and an accredited instructor of several French wine-making regions, after extensive travels and passing Master-level exams administered by the French Wine Society.
