Episode 1, Segment 1: This week on Wisconsin Foodie we make the connection from the ground to the plate.
LotFotL Community Farm
w2857 County Rd ES
East Troy, WI 532120
LotFotL Community Farm is an “incubator” farm on Certified Organic land at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute in East Troy Wisconsin. We provide fresh in season Certified Organic produce, fruits, wildcrafted mushrooms, herbs, and edible flowers to customers at farmer’s markets, grocers, restaurants, and through our CSA program.
The backbone of LotFotL’s success hinges on our 26 week CSA program. In 2010, we will serve 200+ households with top quality certified organic shares from mid may to mid november. We offer work-for-food options too.
2010 will also mark our first year of grazing cattle for beef, sold directly to you. We will also be able to harvest honey from our very own hives! Check out the website for more info.

A neighborhood “specialty” grocery store for the East Side and greater Milwaukee, where you can find everything you need – from fresh produce to “fresh” greeting cards, imported shortbread to organic frozen dinners, and from wine to fresh-squeezed carrot juice!
It’s a health food store with hundreds of products – vitamins, supplements and food products, bath and body-care items, magazines, cards, books – and a staff of people that can help you find what you need.
Our catering department can provide anything from trays and box lunches, to beautiful wedding buffets, to backstage suppers for the band.
The restaurant seats eighty people, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, with a menu of good, healthy homemade food – including vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties, beer and wine.
